Melrose House

Appreciated this peaceful and clean hotel, met standards. The rooms were cheap and big, there was an exceptionally comfortable bed. Its comfortable decor with an exceptionally good view of the garden and pond was a nice surprise. The venue was in a central setting by metro.

Clean place with great view of the garden and pond. Comfortable location in the area you want to be from Melrose House and very nice area. Comfortable beds, a small fridge, a TV, and thoughtful tea making facilities in the room.

The hotel's location was magnificent to Bromley where there was a large shopping area. More than adequate and abundant breakfasts with cereals and fruit, the staff were amicable.

All good - we liked this typical english hotel - the food was good and the staff where helpful. The location was quiet, to a conservatory, convenient to go everywhere. Cafe Family Cafe located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

Very pleased overall, I would come here again. It's a charming old and peaceful hotel in the nice old building. Quadruple room is brand-new, has a large bathroom. Glad to have a small refrigerator, a TV, and tea making facilities.

The hotel is wonderful old and fairly clean with pleasant staff. Its location is incredible & particularly good, so close to two train stations, the train line out of Victoria station and the garden and pond.

Twin room with a nice bathroom accommodated us perfectly. Wi-Fi, a kitchenette area, and coffee were a nice touch. The setting was fantastic, close to a train station, southeast London and 5 stops south of London's Victoria station.

Wonderful old place, fairly clean, great value. Good and incredible location when travelling to London. Wonderful stay in beautiful area. Very good building and spotless and cheap rooms with a king-sized bed.

The English breakfast had a wide range of delicacies and was varied. The location was perfect and excellent because it was just off restful, southeast London and buses and Trams. And it was not very far from Mogul Tandoori, ate there couple of times.

Glad I took triple room, it was airy and huge.

It is a good old and peaceful hotel with magnificent view of the garden. Our venue is set in a central location just next door to everything, from train times to routes, West Dulwich and the establishment. There's Mcdonald's Restaurant offering takeout not too far away from the venue.

The hotel was in a peaceful location, still close to the trains which take you right in the middle of London. This was exactly the deluxe queen room I wanted in London.

Fairly clean and incredibly beautiful hotel with exceptionally good view of the garden and pond. Magnificent and nice location in London, adjacent to at least three main train stations very close serving London Victoria and London Bridge also buses and Trams, the railway station and train at Penge East. Lots of food at the English breakfast.

The location was great for me as it was very close to center, and Beckenham railway station. Besides, it was 5 min drive to a huge park. All in all room was impeccably clean and huge; also provided a bathtub. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was abundant and plentiful.

All the employees were pleasant and welcoming and smiled at me.

Good-sized and functional room, shower facilities, a hairdryer, and guest toiletries in the room. First-class service, parking nearby. Excellent location, not too far away from a huge park.

Convenient and handy location for London, close to two different train stations, inexpensive delicious Pub, internet, shopping, and train and the restaurants and supermarkets near the area. Extra care from the attentive and caring stuff. Abundant and plentiful breakfasts with a good view to the garden lawn and cereals.

The English breakfast with eggs and bacon was rich with a good view to the garden lawn. The location was quiet for exploring this very very nice area, so close to trains and Beckenham High Street, and Penge Ease and New Beckenham railway stations.

The hotel with a nice size and well-equipped rooms, in a very very nice area, close to train station with direct trains to London Victoria.

A bit rude staff!

Had a peaceful 3 night-stay from the moment I checked-in. I was offered an incredible breakfast with a good view to the garden lawn. The staff were both exceptionally nice and welcoming. Fantastic and fab location right on the train line out of Victoria station made it easy to get to key attractions.

The bed in my room was a bit hard.

Marvellous and easy location to a huge park. Found in a very quiet area close enough to ideas on what to do. Plentiful breakfast with fruit, self-service hot plus wide continental for every taste.

The breakfast was large with yogurts and beverages, for instance for the English breakfast. The staff were all very very kind and polite.

I enjoyed the exceptionally comfortable bed and the standard queen room. The breakfast was rich with a huge variety of fab options. All the staff was pleasant, tackled my issues. The location was central, incredible to the centre of London.

It was in a central location, close to the trains which take you right in the middle of London. Thanks to the very very helpful staff everything was lovely, including a wide array of great food. The breakfast was more than adequate and offered a wide array of items.

All in all we appreciated neat and brilliant room with a bathroom, three twin beds crammed, complementary chocolates. The location was fab, and we could reach Holy Trinity Beckenham by walking.

The staff was not very friendly.

Location: the hotel was short walk to a brilliant pub, and the rail station. Dined at Serbet Restaurant, it was not too far away from the venue.

The location was handy and easy, close to Holy Trinity. Also, the area was beautiful🙂

Besides, the location was peaceful for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of a huge park. Deluxe queen room was attractive and airy in the walled garden next to the fish pond.

I have stayed in triple room for 2 nights, it was complete with a king-sized bed as well as chest of drawers. As for me, the location was incredible and easy, very close to London, Victoria and discounts on water ferries. Apart from that, a huge park was 10 minutes' drive away.

This typical english hotel offers a great selection of neat and attractive rooms. And it's based in a shopping area just next door to the city center as well as Penge Ease and New Beckenham railway stations.

The breakfast was more than adequate, nice to have eggs and bacon. The best thing is location - not far from London, easy to locate, everything, from train times to routes.

Don't hesitate to order English breakfast as it's plentiful. The location is marvellous, 3 km from Squirrel.

Nothing too much trouble, we loved the place. We had a more than adequate and delicious breakfast with juice and fruit, could find something for everyone.

An electric kettle and fridges were very handy.

We enjoyed the hotel, staff and food, it's nice place to stay. Moreover, free WiFi was available...

our standard double room was equipped with an iron, multi-channel television and a dining area. we stayed for 2 nights here, loved sydenham district.

The breakfast was fantastic, a wide array of choice. Kensington and Chelsea neighbourhood was worth exploring.
